At Crannaig House, we provide additional guest facilities that we believe will enhance your stay with us, and complement our comfortable and well-appointed bedrooms.
Our guest lounge is a large room at the front of the house, with southerly views across Aberfoyle to the forested hills beyond. It is a perfect place to enjoy a pre-dinner drink and relax in front of the log fire, read a book, or socialise with your fellow guests.
Books are available for our guests to read, and we encourage guests to swap their books for ones taken.
Playing cards and board games provide further entertainment and there’s a large TV with Sky for your pleasure.
We also provide a range of cocktails, as well as soft drinks and it’s the perfect stop off en-route to the garden or the guest lounge!
The bar is open daily from 6pm to 10pm.
Guests are welcome to our bar to sample and enjoy a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. In addition to traditional beers, we also offer a comprehensive wine list as well as spirits and fizz!
We have just over 2 acres of private gardens for you to enjoy and relax in. The gardens are a mixture of lawn, mature borders and woodland and due to the nature of us being situated on a hillside, offer some fantastic views.
There are several strategically placed seating areas that offer the best views, plus we have a stunning gazebo with seating that ensures your own space.
The gazebo is also lit, and during the summer, (and subject to weather!) a BBQ will definitely be making an appearance on the evening menu!
Our garden is yours to enjoy for your stay and it’s the perfect place to enjoy tranquillity, peace and seclusion whilst watching and listening to the wildlife
If you’ve arrived on push bike, and need clothes washing and drying, don’t hesitate to ask, as we can provide this service for you for a nominal fee.
After travelling extensively around Scotland and Europe on two wheels (motorised!), we appreciate how important it is to have the peace of mind knowing that your pride and joy is tucked away securely, out of the weather. We have plenty of room to store bikes and even have a room where you can dry wet clothes.
We have a single 7.4Kwh Ohme Home Pro charger that is located within our secure car park, and available to use exclusively by our guests at a highly competitive rate.
Parking is done at the guest’s risk and we take no responsibility for any damage caused whilst being on the property.
The gardens are for you to enjoy, but we take no responsibility for any injuries caused by being in the garden. It is a traditional Scottish garden and has many uneven areas
